Police said 31-year-old Christopher Terrebonne worked last year as a substitute teacher at Brooke Point High School, where he met the 16-year-old girl. On June 27, he invited the girl over to his home where the two had consensual sex.

Terrebonne will serve one month in jail, but since the girl was over 15-years-old and was not under Terrebonne’s supervision the crime does not qualify as a felony, Fredericksburg.com reported.


The plant had been closed and was undergoing renovations to reopen when he theft was reported, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

Six days later, detectives were back at the plant in an effort to catch the thieves, and were able to catch one man enter the plant at night. The arrest led to a two-month investigation that turned up evidence pointing to the seven others connected to the crime, said Kennedy.


Police said Tuong Nguyen, 63, of Towson, Md., is charged with failing to yield right of way in connection to the crash. She was charged on Tuesday and was released on a summons.

The fatal victim, 45-year-old William Tyler Cowherd of Annandale died in the crash. A female passenger who was also on the motorcycle at the time of the crash was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.


On July 30th at 11:38PM, police responded to the 1400 block of Milbank Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim in the face several times before fleeing the residence. The accused also broke a picture frame and door, valued around $200 before leaving. The victim was transported to an area hospital for her injuries. The accused was arrested on July 31st without further incident.

Prince William

Tires and rims were stolen from cars in multiple cases.

VRE / Commuter Lot Vehicle Larcenies
Since early July 2011, there have been several reports of tire and rim larcenies from vehicles parked in commuter lots and garages at area VRE and commuter locations. These larcenies have been reported to have occurred during the day hours, 6:30AM to 4:00PM, while vehicle owners have been at work. Police have increased their patrols and continue to monitor the area commuter and VRE lots within Prince William County. Sexual Assault
July 27th at 10:05AM, police responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 5800 block of Rhode Island Dr in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 5 year old girl, had been sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance between June 2010 and December 2010. The accused was charged and arrested on July 27th.

Burglary *ARREST

On July 25th, police made an arrest in the below burglary reported on July 11th. The investigation revealed that the accused had pawned jewelry stolen in that burglary the day after the incident on July 12th. The accused also stole a check book from the residence and on two separate dates, July 17th and 21st, cashed two of the checks receiving an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. The accused was located at his residence with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force and arrested without incident. A search warrant was executed at the residence of the accused located at 12375 Midsummer Ln in Woodbridge. Other items from the burglary were recovered.


On July 24th at 1:25AM, police responded to the 1800 block of Fort Pulaski Ct in Dumfries (22026) for a domestic. The caller, an 18 year old man of Drumfires, reported to police that a female resident, 36, and a male resident, 31, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation. During the encounter the accused grabbed a shotgun and fired several rounds within the residence. The accused then walked to another part of the residence which gave the caller the opportunity to flee the residence and contact police. As police checked the residence the female and the accused were not located but are believed to be in the company of one another. The female is not believed to be in any danger as contact was established with her. A search warrant was executed at the residence and the firearm was recovered. Warrants were obtained against the accused. No injuries were reported.
