STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Authorities an infant died in the care of his babysitter.
Stafford County sheriff’s deputies were called to 1103 Providence Street in in south Stafford on July 13. Fire and rescue crews were already called there after a small child had reportedly fallen.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — It turns out a man who told police he was run over and dragged while walking in the area of Colchester Road and Walnut Street in Woodbridge actually jumped onto a car himself, police said. Now the man who was a victim in this case is wanted for filing a false police report.

Following the suspect’s arrest, police stated this is the third arrest this month in Prince William County “involving juveniles sending inappropriate photos or messages to adults.”

The owner of the dog, who lives on Paris Lane just off Onville Road, said he put “Scooby” outside about 6 p.m. Sunday. The dog was wearing a collar and was tethered to a leash.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Authorities in Stafford County arrested a 16-year-old male after a a camera turned up at a pawn shop. Authorities said the male charged tried to sell it. Afterward, they searched his home and arrested him.
