About $15,000 in cell phones were stolen from a Radio Shack store in Stafford County.
The burglary occurred sometime after 3 a.m. Sunday at the store inside Washington Square Plaza in south Stafford’s Ferry Farm area. A glass door was shattered, and a store manager told investigators the cell phones have been removed from a cage in the rear of the store, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
Employees at a nearby Walmart store who told investigators they saw a suspicious red car drive back and forth about an hour before the burglary occurred at 3:27 a.m. They saw a man get out of the car, walk up to the front door and pull on it, and then going back to his car after finding the door to be locked, said Kennedy. The man did this several times, he added.

Authorities said a Stafford man led them on a wild chase into Triangle.
A Stafford sheriff’s deputy saw a car traveling north on U.S. 1 near Stafford Courthouse on Saturday afternoon. The driver was speeding, so the deputy turned around to follow the car, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
The deputy witnessed the car traveling between 60 and 70 mph, using the southbound lanes of the 4-lane highway to get around other motorists, and also striking at least one car on U.S. 1 in the process, Kennedy added.

A man from Lake Ridge is under arrest and charged in a bank robbery that occurred Monday at the Woodbine Shopping Center near Independent Hill.

Bank Robbery – On January 27th at 4:50PM, police responded to the BB&T Bank located at 13414 Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the bank, approached the counter, presented a bag and demanded money. The employee placed an undisclosed amount of US Currency in the bag which was taken by the man before fleeing from the bank in an unknown direction. Further investigation and video surveillance obtained from the bank led detectives to the identity of the man who located at his residence and arrested without incident. Investigation Continues.

Three teenagers are accused of breaking into a neighbor’s home and stealing several items. It took some work by police, and the mother of one suspect, to find out who was behind the break in, police said.

Police in Prince William County made arrests in two separate rape incidents. One of the cases involves the arrest of a 14-year-old male whom police said sexually assaulted two children, ages 7 and 10 years old.

STAFFORD, Va. -- Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home at 636 Belle Plains Road in Stafford County, near Fredericksburg, at 10:18 p.m. Sunday for a report of a man who had been shot.
A friend of the victim told deputies that William Conner, 35, had been shot while on his front porch. The victim staggered off porch and was found dead in the yard, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
Police set up a perimeter and called in a Maryland State Police helicopter in an attempt to find the suspect following the shooting, identified as Mark Howsare.

Narcotics Investigation – Arrest
On January 16th, 2014 Investigators from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a two month-long narcotics investigation involving the selling of cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 9088 McClellan Commons. During the search, suspected cocaine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. Gerzan Zuniga-Calderon, 30, of 9088 McClellan Cmn was taken into custody without incident and charged with three counts of distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic. He was held without bond and his court date is unavailable.

Police said a 29-year-old man forced his way into a home in Dale City, abducted a 14-year-old boy, tied him up and placed him in a bathroom, and then burglarized the home.

Abduction | Residential Burglary *ARREST – Through an extensive investigation, detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit were able to determine that three males were involved in the burglary which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 3800 block of Fortuna Ct in Woodbridge on November 5th.
