Police spoke with the suspect, identified as the mother, and say that the infant had been left inside the car for between 40 to 45 minutes and was sent to the hospital as a safety precaution.

DALE CITY, Va. – On October 2, a 911 caller told police that they saw a couple, who appeared to be intoxicated, leave a local Petco with a small child.
