DALE CITY, Va. – On October 2, a 911 caller told police that they saw a couple, who appeared to be intoxicated, leave a local Petco with a small child. The couple left before police arrived and upon arrival to a home, officers found the suspect intoxicated and in the driver’s seat of the car, as well as a 15-month-old boy, who police say was unharmed.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 1, a 20-year-old man told police that he was assaulted by three suspects, whom he knew, and that duct tape and threats were used against him. Police believe that this assault was in revenge for another previous incident between the victim and one of the suspects.

MANASSAS, Va. – On September 30, police found and arrested three teenage male suspects for assaulting and robbing a 17-year-old male victim. Police say that after the victim sold the suspects a pair of shoes, he was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone, headphones, and money, and during the incident, one of the suspects hinted that he had a knife.

DALE CITY, Va. – On October 3, a 35-year-old man was hospitalized with critical injuries after he was stabbed by an unknown person. Police say that the victim was walking in the area and never saw the suspect, the investigation is ongoing.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On Oct. 2, police went to investigate reports of trespassing in the area and while searching the supposed trespasser, the suspect kicked an officer in the leg. Police say that the suspect was drunk and gave a false identity to officers while in custody.

MANASSAS, Va. – On Oct. 1, an employee at Western Union told police that an unknown man pulled out a handgun and struck him in the the head with it before leaving on foot with a set of keys. Police say that the man followed the employee into the business and the employee resisted him when the incident happened.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 1, a manager at a Jiffy Lube told police that an intruder broke out a back office glass door and stole a laptop, computer monitor, and safe from an internal office. According to the report, officers reviewed video surveillance cameras that showed a man, matching the description of the suspect, burglarizing Jiffy Lube.

MANASSAS, Va. – On Sept. 27, Manassas City police officers went to 8800 Fort Drive to investigate a report that shots were fired in the area. 

Officers were told by someone at the scene that they saw what was described as a “late model red minivan” driving down Jackson Avenue nearby, said Manassas police spokeswoman Adrienne Helms. While it passed, the driver fired two gunshots out of the car and continued to drive back on Jackson Avenue, towards Sudley Road until it left the scene, said Helms.
