WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 4, a 22-year-old woman told police that she was sitting in her car, when the suspect came up, brandished and pointed his handgun at her. The victim knew the suspect and he began to shoot at the car, damaging it but the victim was not injured. Police have obtained a warrant for the suspect’s arrest.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 13, officers found and arrested two suspects in connection to a burglary from the previous day. Police say a group of burglars broke into a home, three of whom were armed and caused minor injuries. Before leaving in two separate cars with two stolen cell phones, the home and residents were searched.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 11, a woman was arrested for driving under the influence with her 3-year-old daughter after she weaved out of the lane and struck a construction barrel. The woman’s daughter was unharmed and given to a family friend while officers connected the woman to a separate, previous hit and run crash on I-95.

GAINESVILLE, Va. – On October 10, officers from the Special Victims Unit and Internet Crimes against Children Task Force conducted a search warrant in the area and arrested a man tied to a child pornography case. Officers were led to the suspect after they discovered that he was talking to a 16-year-old girl from New York and upon further searching of his home, officers found more evidence of child pornography.

DALE CITY, Va. – On Oct. 7, a man was arrested after he threw multiple items at a 43-year-old woman and pulled out a knife towards her. According to the report, while holding the knife, he struck the victim in the face before police were contacted. The victim was taken to a hospital.

DALE CITY, Va. – On October 4, police went to the area to investigate a report that an 8-month-old infant had been left in a parked car. Police spoke with the suspect, identified as the mother, and say that the infant had been left inside the car for between 40 to 45 minutes and was sent to the hospital as a safety precaution.
