A man walked into the bank in the 14800 block of Smoketown Road, near Potomac Mills mall, about 1 p.m. Monday. The man took money and then fled on foot, according to Prince William police.

One person has been stabbed in an apparent road rage incident in Stafford.
The attack occurred on Mine Road near a Walmart in North Stafford when two vehicles were stopped at a traffic light around 5 p.m., according to Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Bill Kennedy. One person got out of their vehicle and approached the other. That’s when the stabbing occurred.
The investigation into a shooting that took place overnight in Dale City has taken police officers to the Montclair neighborhood.
Fire and rescue crews were called to a home in the 15500 block of Winding Creek Drive at 5:37 a.m., for a report of a man who was injured by a firework. Rescue crews determined the man had been shot, stated Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
On Dec. 17, police found and arrested the man they said is responsible for pulling a knife on local cab drivers and stealing money from them.
Police say the suspect matched the description given in connection to the five separate incidents reported to the police.

Police are investigating a series of robberies involving taxi cabs near Manassas. Five cabbies have been robbed since Dec. 9.
The most recent robbery was at 3:21 a.m. in the area of Vernon Street and Tower Place. On Monday, police were called to a Walmart at Manassas Mall after a cabbie was robbed nearby.
The Manassas Fire Marshal’s Office wants to know who burned a car parked in the city’s Georgetown South neighborhood.
The car was set ablaze about 2 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11. It was parked in the 9200 block of Taney Road.
Police said a man at a McDonalds restaurant was beaten during an altercation that started in a bathroom.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On December 8, police went to Saks Fifth Avenue department store at Potomac Mills Mall after an unknown man tried to steal a pair of shoes and assaulted an employee when they tried to stop him. The man left the scene in a car and officers were not able to find the man after searching the nearby area.
