From Prince William police: 

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On September 11, Darius Lamont DAVIS turned himself into police without incident at the Gar-Field Station in Woodbridge. The accused was wanted for a robbery which occurred in the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries on August 18. The investigation continues.

From Prince William police: 

Abduction | Assault by Mob On August 31 at 2:15PM, officers responded to the area of Ashton Ave and Rixlew Ln in Manassas (22109) to investigate a large group fighting in the area. Upon a search of the area, officers located the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile of Manassas, at his residence a short distance away. The victim reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by three acquaintances. During the encounter, the victim was punched and kicked by the suspects. The parties eventually separated and the suspects fled the area prior to officers arriving. Minor injuries were reported. Upon further investigation, officers determined that this incident was gang related. On September 2, detectives with the Gang Unit identified one of the suspects involved as a 16-year-old male juvenile of Manassas. A search warrant was subsequently executed at the residence of the 16-yearold where he was taken into custody without incident. On September 5, the remaining two suspects involved were identified as a 14-year-old male juvenile and Hector ARIAS RAMIREZ. As a search warrant was being executed at an address on Manassas Dr, the 14-year-old male juvenile and ARIAS RAMIREZ attempted to run out the back door but were taken into custody a short time later without incident. Following the investigation, all of the accused were arrested. The investigation continues.

From the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: 

On August 29, 2016 at approximately 8:30pm Stafford County Deputies W.J. McWaters and C. L. Smith responded to a call of a shoplifting in progress at Walmart, located at 217 Garrisonville Road. Upon arrival at the scene the deputies spoke with Walmart’s Loss Prevention Officer. He had detained an adult male who was accused of stealing a coffee maker, radio and freon canisters.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation – On August 30 at 7:07PM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Birchdale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Woodbridge, was shot in the lower body by an acquaintance near the basketball courts in the above area.

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On August 23, detectives from the Gang Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery which occurred in the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries on August 18. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of this suspect, identified as Darius Lamont DAVIS. Attempts to locate DAVIS have been unsuccessful.

Residential Burglary – On August 22 at 10:52AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5200 block of Meckon Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. As officers were enroute, a witness reported to police that an unknown man was attempting to break into the residence through a rear door with a shovel.

Indecent Liberties by a Custodian – On July 7, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate inappropriate contact which was reported to have occurred at the Life Church located at 11234 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) in 2015. The investigation revealed that the accused, a youth pastor at the church, sent inappropriate text messages and inappropriate touched the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile, on more than one occasion between January and September of 2015. The contact allegedly took place at the church in Manassas. Following the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant on August 17 for the arrest of the accused, identified as Jordan David BAIRD. The accused was located and arrested without incident at a residence in Fauquier County later that evening. A search warrant was subsequently executed at his residence. The investigation continues.
