From Prince William police: 

Armed Robbery – On September 16 at 3:10PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred in the area of Allen Dent Rd and Reservoir Loop in Dumfries (22026) earlier that afternoon. The victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by two unknown male juveniles. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a handgun while the other suspect punched the victim in the face. The suspects then took the victim’s shoes and cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

From Prince William police: 

Domestic Assault & Battery | Police Officer Arrest – On September 13 at 11:00PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 15500 block of Laurel Ridge Rd in Dumfries (22025). The victim, a 51-year-old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident. The accused is a sworn Police Officer of the Prince William County Police Department. The accused will be reassigned to an administrative position and his police powers have been suspended pending an internal investigation.

Manassas police announced the arrest of a man suspected in “several recent shootings in the Georgetown South Community” about 24 hours after three people were shot in the neighborhood. 

Police spokeswoman Adrienne Helms stated she did not “have any evidence to confirm or deny” that the suspected charged Thursday night, David Mendoza, was the shooter in Wednesday night’s shooting.

From Prince William police:

Abduction | Domestic Related On September 13 at 11:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Arrowhead Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 36-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused prevented the victim from leaving the room and, at one point, held her in a bathroom. The victim screamed which prompted neighbors to contact police. Officers arrived and, upon hearing additional screaming, forced entry into the home finding the victim in the bathroom. The victim was not injured. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

From Manassas City police: 

Shooting [Update]
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, 2016, Manassas City Police was dispatched to the 9800 block of Maury Ln where officers discovered three victims who had been shot. All three victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries from apparent gunshot wounds. A preliminary description of suspects is of several Hispanic males occupying two vehicles that were seen leaving the area together – one dark gray Mercedes sedan and the other a dark Honda sedan with loud exhaust. The incident does not appear to have been random in nature and Manassas City Detectives are actively pursuing leads working with the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force and the Prince William County-Manassas-Manassas Park Vice Narcotics Task Force. This investigation is in its early stages with additional updates to follow.

From the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: 

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Fielding Smith Daniel, age 52, of 1123 South Blue Ridge Ave, Culpeper, VA. Daniel has been charged with two counts of Carnal Knowledge, two counts of Use of an Electronic Device to Solicit a Minor and two counts of Soliciting a Minor for Prostitution.

From the Stafford Sheriff’ Office: 

At approximately 10:30am this morning, multiple units from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Union 1st Market Bank located at 1044 Warrenton Rd for a report of a bank robbery. Bank employees reported that two suspects entered the bank, walked up to the teller windows and demanded cash. Both suspects displayed a firearm during the robbery. The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
