STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Investigators say a woman was pulled from her car while traveling on Route 3 in Stafford County and sexually assaulted.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 21 at 7:14PM, officers responded to the Food Lion located at 12420 Dillingham Square in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a suspicious person. When officers arrived, an employee of the store reported that a man was inside the bathroom and appeared to be acting strangely. Officers located the man inside the bathroom and identified him as the accused who appeared intoxicated. While officers were conducting the investigation, suspected narcotics were located in the pocket of the accused. As officers went to detain the accused, he pulled away and attempted to run. The accused continued to resist and, at one point, attempted to push both officers. The accused was eventually taken into custody and transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both officers also sustained injuries as a result of the incident and one officer was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Joseph Christopher KRANZ, was arrested.

STAFFORD, Va. — The driver of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee slammed into the front of a CVS Pharmacy.
The crash occurred at 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 26 when the driver entered the parking lot of the store at the intersection of Route 610 and Shelton Shop Road in Stafford.
LAKE RIDGE, Va. — A South Carolina man was killed Saturday night while crossing Old Bridge Road near Springwoods Drive in Lake Ridge.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — One man was shot multiple times at a house in the 7500 block of Quail Run Lane.
Police were called to the scene just before 10 p.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William police seek information on what appears to be an abduction of a person outside a Walmart in Woodbridge.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 25, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a home in Manassas (20111). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 9-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion over the last two years by a family member. The incidents were recently disclosed and police were contacted. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Luis Antonio PEREZ. Attempted to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Felony Hit & Run | Attempted Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 26 at 6:53PM, officers responded to the area of Minnieville Rd and Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) for an initial report of a reckless driver. Multiple callers reported to police that the driver of 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling in the above area in a reckless manner. As a result of the driver’s actions, multiple other occupied vehicles were struck before the vehicle became disabled on Minnieville Rd near Caton Hill Rd. When officers arrived, the driver, identified as the accused, refused to exit the vehicle. After a brief struggle, the accused was eventually removed from the vehicle and detained. During the arrest, the accused attempted to strike one of the officers. Once in custody, the driver was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and suspected PCP. The accused sustained a minor head injury during the incident and was treated at an area hospital. Two drivers of the other vehicles struck was also transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. In total, the accused struck 8 vehicles and impacted traffic in the area for several hours.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 25, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a home in Manassas (20111). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 9-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion between September and October of 2016 by a family member. While investigating the incidents, detectives also discovered that the accused showed the victim inappropriate videos. The incidents were recently disclosed after the victim was shown an education video at school regarding appropriate and inappropriate touching. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Mark Christopher STONE, was arrested.
