Homicide Investigation – On March 4 at 2:33PM, officers responded to the Burlington Coat Factory located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the suspect was observed shoplifting inside the store. Two loss prevention employees confronted the suspect as he exited the business.

From Prince William police: 

Attempted Armed Robbery – On March 2 at 9:10AM, officers responded to the Family Dollar located at 13975 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. During the encounter, the suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect eventually fled the area without taking any property. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

DALE CITY, Va. — The Wells Fargo Bank branch at on Dale Boulevard, near the intersection of Interstate 95 was robbed this morning.

Police were called to the bank in Dale City about 9:15 a.m., as well as to areas around Ashdale Plaza, and the area around Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center search for the suspect.

**MISSING ENDANGERED JUVENILE**- The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered juvenile, Franklin UCEDA-MERCADO. On March 1 at 8:54PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 7400 block of Prince Charles Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a missing juvenile. Family members reported to police that Franklin left the apartment voluntarily around 8:00PM. It is believed that Franklin may still be in the area on foot or riding his bicycle. Franklin is listed as endangered due to his age and the weather conditions. Anyone with information on Franklin’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 703-792-6500.

From Prince William police: 

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On February 26, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in the robbery which occurred at the Famous Footwear located at 11146 Bulloch Dr in Manassas (20109) on February 1. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Christopher Alan MARTIN. The accused was located and arrested in Arlington on February 28.
Arrested on February 28:
Christopher Alan MARTIN, 32, of 3522 12th Street South in Arlington
Charged with 2 counts of robbery and 2 counts of burglary while armed
Court Date: March 13, 2017 | Bond: Held WITHOUT bond

From Prince William police: 

Homicide Investigation *UPDATE –  On March 1, the male suspect involved in the homicide of Silvia Patricia RAMOS GUILLEN, which occurred on February 17 at a residence located in the 7300 block of Forrester Ln in Manassas, died as a result of his injuries sustained during the incident. Detectives with the Homicide Unit are currently working in conjunction with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine his exact cause of death. This incident was isolated to the parties involved and there is no threat to the public. The investigation continues.

Strong Armed Robbery *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On February 27, Jesse James WYRICK, the second suspect wanted for a robbery which occurred in the area of Hoadly Rd and Apollo Dr in Woodbridge on February 1, turned himself into police without incident.
