MANASSAS, Va. — One person is custody in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Wilfredo Guardado-Huezo in Manassas.
The suspect, 20-year-old Denis Alexander Sanchez was arrested late Monday night. They did not say where the suspect was arrested.

Malicious Wounding *ARREST– On April 15, Dashawn Lamar MOORE-TAYLOR, wanted for an assault which occurred in the area of Neabsco Rd and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) on March 29, 2016, was located and arrested in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Abduction | Assault & Battery – On April 17 at 8:17AM, officers responded to investigate an assault which occurred at a residence located in the 13400 block of Orchard Dr in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that morning. The victim, a 25-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was in the kitchen when the accused, an acquaintance, grabbed her from behind and attempted to take her towards his bedroom. The victim was eventually able to break free and go to her bedroom. The accused then left the residence and the victim later contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Miguel Angel GRANADOS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

At 1:10 a.m. on April 17, 2017, Manassas City Police responded to 9000 block of Centreville Rd for a report of shots fired. Officers located a 25-year-old male victim who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On April 13 at 5:13 p.m., officers responded to a nearby hospital to investigate an assault. The victims, who were identified as 16 and 17-year-old juvenile males and an 18-year-old man, all of Woodbridge, reported to police that earlier that afternoon, they were driving in a vehicle near the intersection of Florida and Maryland Avenues in Woodbridge when a man, who was later identified as the accused, positioned his vehicle in front of their vehicle, preventing it from leaving.
