Prince William County Police join law enforcement agencies throughout Virginia in the “Click It or Ticket” campaign to enforce the Commonwealth’s safety-belt and child safety-seat laws. The Department will participate in high-visibility patrols – day and night – from Monday, May 22, through Sunday, June 4 (which includes the Memorial Day holiday weekend).

From Prince William police reports: 

Shooting into Residential Dwelling – On May 12 at 11:12PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Moccasin Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. Several callers reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard in the above area. Officers checked the area and nothing was found at that time. On May 13 at 11:43AM, a citizen located several bullets hole inside of their residence. No injuries or no other property damage was reported. Upon further investigation, a shell casing was located in a nearby roadway. The investigation continues.

From Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:

On May 10, 2017, at 7:30 a.m., Deputy J.J. Kreider was westbound on South Gateway Drive when he observed a subject he recognized driving a green SAAB traveling east. Deputy Kreider knew the subject’s driving privilege was currently suspended due to multiple prior driving convictions.

Police surrounded Mapledale Plaza on Wednesday at about 1:3o p.m. after a car crash. 

Officers set up a search perimeter around the shopping center, and in the adjacent Princedale and Nottingdale neighborhoods of Dale City after one person involved in the crash “walked away.”

From Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:

On May 5, 2017, at 4:23 p.m., a citizen called to report a blue Ford pickup truck in the area of the Blue and Gray Parkway and Kings Highway that was swerving and drove into a ditch. Deputy D.W. Fetterolf responded and observed a vehicle, matching the description provided, stopped at a red light on Cool Springs Road waiting to make a left turn onto Butler Road.

From Manassas City Police Department:

Armed Robbery At 2:15 a.m. on May 8, 2017, The Manassas City Police responded to 7-Eleven, located at 10438 Dumfries Rd, for a report of an armed robbery. The store clerk told police a male subject entered the store with his face covered, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot in the direction of Barrington Park Circle with an undisclosed amount of cash. (more…)
