From Prince William police: 

Sexual Battery On April 28 at 8:28AM, officers responded to investigate an assault which occurred outside of a business located in the 8100 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) earlier that morning. The victim, a 54-year-old-woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect inappropriately touched the victim. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The investigation continues.

From Prince William police: 

Brandishing a Firearm – On April 27 at 8:44PM, officers responded to Hylton High School located at 14051 Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a fight with a weapon. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old male, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a firearm which he had retrieved from his vehicle. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident at his residence later that evening. Further investigation determined that the firearm was a BB gun.

From Prince William police: 

Sexual Assault Investigation – On April 10, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence in Woodbridge (22191) sometime after January 2017. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 13-year-old female juvenile, was inappropriately touched by the accused, an acquaintance. The victim recently disclosed the incident to a family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on April 26 without incident.

From Prince William County Fire and Rescue Department press release: 

On April 21, the Fire Marshal’s Office received a complaint from a member of the Sudley Road/Lomond Drive homeless community indicating that people were vandalizing other members of the homeless community’s tents and personal belongings by means of fire. Investigators from the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office developed a suspect and obtained a warrant for SHAVONIA “Mi Mi” EAFFORD.

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On April 26, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified and arrested the suspect involved in the robbery which occurred in the area of Vantage Dr and John Diskin Cir in Woodbridge on April 25. The suspect, identified as Demetrious Jerome DONIGAN, was arrested without incident.

Malicious Wounding *ARREST*– On April 25, Tenisha Star RANDALL, wanted for an assault which occurred in the 8100 block of Seymour Rd in Manassas on April 19, was located and arrested without incident at a residence on Lakota Dr in Woodbridge.

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office K9 “Steel” will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K9 “Steel’s” vest will be embroidered with the sentiment “In memory of K9 Ty, California City Police Department.” Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c (3) charity located in East Taunton, MA whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States. The non-profit was established in 2009 to assist law enforcement agencies with this potentially lifesaving body armor for their four-legged K9 officers. Since its inception, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. provided over 2,400 protective vests, in 50 states, through private and corporate donations, at a cost of over 2.1 million dollars. (more…)

From Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:

On April 22, 2017, at  11:17 p.m, Deputy C. N. Mireles was traveling southbound on Warrenton Road behind a light-colored sedan. As both vehicles approached the intersection at Sanford Drive, Deputy Mireles observed the sedan travel through a red traffic light. Deputy Mireles activated his emergency equipment to initiate a traffic stop.
