From Prince William County police:

The residents of the home informed the victim they did not place the order. When the victim returned to his vehicle, he was approached by two unknown men who then attempted to rob him. During the encounter, the men implied they were armed and demanded the victim’s property. No weapon was seen. When the victim refused to comply, the suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Armed Robbery *ARREST – On November 1, the suspect, identified as Kenneth Lewis HARRIS, who was wanted in connection to an armed robbery incident which occurred in the area of Mountain Rd and Loudoun Dr in Haymarket on October 30, turned himself into authorities at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center without incident.

After the encounter, the victims drove to an area hospital where police were contacted. The injuries sustained by all three victims were non-life threatening. The accused was located at his residence near the offense location in Gainesville where he was detained without further incident.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 25, a detective with the Special Victim’s Unit gave a criminal justice presentation to a group of students in a local high school about the Special Victim’s Bureau. Following the presentation, a female student approached the detective and disclosed ongoing sexual abuse by a family member.

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On October 24 at 8:37 a.m, officers responded to an apartment located in the 19000 block of Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a destruction of property. A resident of the apartment reported to police that a loud noise was heard around 3:30 a.m. Later that morning, the resident discovered that a bullet entered the apartment through a window and was found lodged in an interior wall. The fall festival that has taken place for the past 32 years at Early Years Academy is canceled.

Daycare academy founder Samia Harris told us she moved the outdoor festival inside after a swastika was found painted on the sign outside of her business on Spriggs Road near Dale City.

From Prince William County police:

Stabbing Investigation – On October 17 at 12:33a.m., officers responded to a hotel located in the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victims, a 21-year-old man and a 24-year-old man both of Midland, and two other male acquaintances were involved in a verbal altercation at the hotel, which escalated.
