Rape Investigation – On April 17, detectives with the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate an alleged sexual assault that occurred at a hotel located in the 7300 block of Old Centerville Rd in Manassas (20111) on April 15 sometime after 3:00AM.

Sexual Assault – On April 16 at 8:45PM, officers responded to the Le Tache Couple Boutique located at 10346 Portsmouth Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that an unknown male entered the business and approached a female employee who was standing behind a counter. During the encounter, the male went behind the counter and bit the employee.

Brandishing Investigation – On April 18 at 8:51AM, officers responded to investigate a brandishing which was reported to have occurred in the area of Dumfries Rd near Purcell Rd in Manassas (20112) earlier that morning at approximately 8:30AM.
Police tell us they’ve arrested a man suspected in the attempted robbery at a Stafford County dollar store.
They found him trying to rob a bank in nearby Fredericksburg, according to this police press release:
STAFFORD COUNTY — Stafford County authorities were called to a Royal Farms gas station Tuesday after a gun went off.
Stafford authorities said two men were outside in the gas station parking lot when one of the men who was sitting inside a vehicle discharged a firearm sending a bullet into a windshield narrowly missing the second man who was standing outside of the vehicle.

Abduction – On April 14 at 7:40PM, officers responded to the 3300 block of Dry Powder Cir [near] Dumfries (22026) to investigate a vehicle theft in progress. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, reported to police that she was changing her 3-month-old child’s diaper in the back seat while she was standing outside of her vehicle that was parked in the above area.

Threats of Bodily Harm | Threats on School Grounds – On April 10 at 5:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in Woodbridge to investigate a threatening message against a student of Hylton High School located at 14051 Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim received several threatening messages communicated over the social media app “Instagram” from two user accounts that suggested an act of violence against the student while at the school.

Stabbing Investigation *ARREST – On April 5, detectives from the Gang Unit concluded an investigation regarding a stabbing that occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 13990 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on November 17. Upon further investigation, detectives determined that this incident was gang related. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified and arrested both suspects. One of the suspects, identified as a 17-year-old male, was arrested without incident in January. The second suspect, identified as Deybi Preczadis MEZA SOTO, was arrested in Fairfax County on April 5. The investigation continues.
