Brandishing Investigation *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On May 13, detectives with the Special Investigations Bureau identified the suspect involved in a brandishing that occurred on May 12 in the 13900 block of Promenade Commons St in Gainesville. Following the investigation, detectives obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Stephan Jackson HURST. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.
STAFFORD — Three people, including a 15-year-old boy, is suspected of stealing a car with a dog inside from a WaWa store at 105 Garrisonville Road in North Stafford.
The suspected theft occurred on at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday, May 23.

Strong Armed Robbery – On May 29 at 1:31AM, officers responded to the CVS located at 13600 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that two unknown men entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter. Both suspects then jumped over the counter and demanded prescription medications from the employees as a third suspect waited in front of the store as a lookout. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of prescription medications before fleeing the area in a white SUV, which had been circling the store prior to the incident. No weapons were displayed during the robbery and no injuries were reported. The investigation continues

Fatal Crash Investigation *ARREST – On May 24, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit obtained an arrest warrant against the driver of the school bus involved in the fatal crash that occurred in the area of Old Carolina Rd and Piedmont Vista Dr in Haymarket on May 23. Based on the investigation, and after consultation with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, the driver of the school bus, identified as Sheli Cheru PAUGH, was determined to be at fault in the crash which resulted in the death of a 53-year-old man. The accused turned herself into police on May 25 without incident.
Shooting Investigation – On May 24 at 11:16PM, officers responded to the Fields of Manassas apartment complex located in the 7400 block of Willoughby Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call.
When officers arrived in the area, they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was transported to an area hospital for treatment and has since been released. The investigation revealed that a large group had gathered in the above area and were actively fighting.

Bank Robbery – On May 23 at 2:25PM, officers responded to the TD Bank located at 16714 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the suspect approached the teller counter and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of currency. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police aided in the search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
