WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) On December 1 at 4:20PM, officers responded to the Target located at 2460 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight in front of the business.

The investigation revealed that a vehicle was illegally parked in the fire lane in front of the business when a second vehicle approached the vehicle parked in the fire lane and began honking its horn.


The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Office of Inspector General (WMATA-OIG) today announced the arrest of Narcisse B. Tsaba, 47, of Brandywine, MD, and Jean-Jacques Lontchi, 53, of Woodbridge, VA, for an alleged fraudulent timekeeping scheme in which they inappropriately received pay from both WMATA and the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) by claiming to be at one employer while physically reporting to the other.

Tsaba, arrested November 29, 2018, and Lontchi, arrested December 4, 2018, were each charged with one count of first-degree felony fraud. The arrests stemmed from a joint investigation with the Office of Inspector General for Amtrak.


MANASSAS – (Press Release) On December 3, 2018, during a Grand Jury hearing, five suspects were indicted in connection with the murder of Reynaldo Eliazar Araujo which occurred on Massie St in the City of Manassas on August 30, 2018.

All five suspects have been indicted for lynching which is considered 2nd-degree murder and is defined by Virginia Code §18.2-39 as “any act of violence by a mob upon the body of any person, which shall result in the death of such person.”


MANASSAS – (Press Release) On November 29, 2018 at approximately 1:51 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the area of Signal Hill Rd and Fairview Ave for a report of shots fired. A witness reported to police they observed a subject discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Based on information from a witness, the Prince William County Police Department was able to locate the suspect vehicle. The Prince William County Police Department pursued the vehicle after it failed to stop. At the conclusion of the pursuit, two subjects were taken into custody by the Prince William County Police Department (See Prince William County Police’s release for additional information). After an investigation by Manassas City Police Department detectives, the passenger, Alexis CARRASQUILLO SANTANA, was charged with willfully discharging a firearm within 1000 feet of a school and reckless handling of a firearm. CARRASQUILLO SANTANA is currently being held with no bond at the Prince William County Detention Center.

STAFFORD – (Press Release) Walmart, 11 Village Parkway, 11/28. Employee reports a past occurred larceny after two suspects were observed leaving the store without paying for two suitcases. The investigation is ongoing.

Walmart, 217 Garrisonville Road, 11/27. Victim reports theft of bicycle parked behind the store. The investigation is ongoing.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY (Press Release) – On November 28 at 2:08PM, officers responded to the Metro PCS located at 17997 Dumfries Shopping Plaza in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that two unknown males wearing masks, one armed with a handgun, entered the store and demanded money. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the business on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the surrounding area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

STAFFORD — (Press Release) Two suspects believed to be behind a shooting of a residence in the northern end of the county were arrested on Tuesday evening by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

On November 27, 2018, at approximately 6:11 p.m., a caller reported hearing a shot and believed a bullet entered his apartment located in the 1000 block of Providence Street near the Stafford Marketplace shopping center. Sgt. Zotos arrived on scene and observed two subjects near a vehicle who proceeded to quickly flee on foot. He gave chase and lost sight of the subjects in the woods behind the apartments.

STAFFORD – (Press Release) Three juvenile suspects have been charged in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on Friday in Stafford County.

On November 23, 2018, at approximately 8:59 p.m., Deputy Houde responded to a past occurred breaking and entering at a residence on Spring Lake Drive. While away from the residence, the homeowners observed two subjects breaking into their house through their home security cameras.

MANASSAS – (Press Release) On November 26, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 8900 block of Rosewood St for a report of a burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was made through a sliding glass door of the residence between 2:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Cash and jewelry were reported missing. The investigation is on-going.
