BRISTOW — (Press Release) On January 2, officers responded to investigate two suspicious person calls involving a man who is believed to be involved in both incidents.

The incidents were reported in the area of Nokesville Road in Manassas (20109) with the first encounter occurring around 2:20 p.m. when an unknown man approached a 17-year-old female as she was getting out of her vehicle in front of the Target located at 9900 Sowder Village Sq. During the encounter, the male told the female that he needed help programing a GPS device then asked her to get into his vehicle.


WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) After consultation with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office regarding the investigation into the fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of Opitz Blvd and River Rock Way in Woodbridge on December 4, investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit have charged the driver of the 2008 Toyota Camry with failure to yield on a left turn. The driver of the Camry, identified as Nusrat Jahan PRITHEE, was served with a court summons on January 2.

Stolen Vehicle

On December 26, 2018, at 10:38 a.m., an officer with the Manassas City Police Department located a stolen vehicle which was parked and unoccupied on the 9700 block of Beech Place. The vehicle is described as a white 2013 Acura ILX. Pictured above is a person of interest in this case. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) Officers responded to investigate multiple commercial burglaries that occurred in the area of Dale Blvd and Minneville Rd in Woodbridge between 7:01 p.m. on December 16 and 12:48 a.m. on December 17.

The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect forced entry into the Birago International Markets, Wonder Nails, Sampan Chinese Carry Out and Top China Restaurant.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) A suspect was is charged with attempted first-degree murder she ran over her girlfriend’s leg with her vehicle in Stafford County.

On December 18, 2018, 9:06 p.m., deputies were called to a report of a pedestrian struck in the area of Cynthias Place in the England Run North Apartments. They learned that a female subject ran over her girlfriend with her vehicle.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) A suspect was arrested by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office in the early hours of Saturday morning for reckless handling of a firearm.

On December 15, 2018, Deputies Potter and Kellam responded to a reported domestic incident with a weapon on the 100 block of Colebrook Road. Several callers reported hearing shots fired in the area.


WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) Bank Robbery – On December 14 at 9:15 a.m., officers responded to the Smoketown Road in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.

The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the bank then approached the teller counter. During the encounter, the suspect United Bank located at 13870 Smoketown Road implied he had a weapon and demanded money.
