PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) On February 1 at 2:15 a.m., officers responded to the Tobacco Time located at 2898 Garber Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary.

The business owner reported to police that he received an alarm activation notice at 1:40 a.m. and responded to the store. When he arrived, he discovered that the front glass door has been shattered and contacted police. Various merchandise was reported missing. Video surveillance revealed that two unknown suspects wearing all black were involved. A police K-9 searched the surrounding the area for the suspects who were not located. Photos will be released when available.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of several vehicle tampering incidents that occurred in the early morning hours on Wednesday in the Stafford Lakes subdivision.

On January 30, 2019, Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to Emerald Drive for a report of vehicle tampering. Upon arrival, they reviewed video footage with the homeowner which showed a suspect entering the vehicle earlier that evening. The victim did not find anything missing from the vehicle.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) On January 29 at 8:35 a.m., officers responded to the 15300 block of Nottingham Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a man who was walking around the neighborhood naked.

When an officer arrived, he located the man standing naked in the middle of Nottingham Dr. The officer determined the accused was under the influence of an unknown substance and attempted to detain him.


NORTH STAFFORD — (Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Press Release) A suspect was arrested on Saturday by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after driving under the influence around Stafford Marketplace and colliding into several objects, including the brick wall of Bed Bath and Beyond.

The wild ride ended after the suspect vehicle went through a fence and crashed into a boulder at Moncure Elementary School after school hours. On Saturday, January 19, 2019, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Deputy Daniel Reed responded to reports of a drunk driver at a Wendy’s fast food restaurant on Garrisonville Road.


STAFFORD COUNTY — (Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Press Release) On Lancelot Lane on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 at 3:29 p.m, a victim reported being scammed out of $500 after a Craigslist transaction went awry.

The victim told deputies he found an ad on Craigslist regarding a vehicle for sale. He texted the phone number listed on the ad and was advised to correspond through an email address.


NORTH STAFFORD — (Press Release) Two suspects were arrested on Monday by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office at a Panera Bread located at 1005 Stafford Market Place.

On January 21, 2019, at approximately 5:26 p.m., 1st Sgt. Purcell responded to Panera Bread after the Sheriff’s Office received reports of a suspect passing a counterfeit $100 bill at the restaurant. Purcell observed a male subject matching the suspect’s description leaving the side door of the restaurant. The suspect then walked down the road and got into a Jeep.


WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) On January 21, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit identified a suspect involved in a burglary to a residence located in the 1500 block of Forest Ln in Woodbridge on January 19.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Akeem Rashaud WILLIAMS. The accused was located later that afternoon at his residence on Cottonwood Ct in Woodbridge and arrested without incident.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) An intoxicated suspect was taken into custody on after neighbors complained he was shooting rounds off outside of his residence on Beech Drive, January 13 at 7:39 p.m. David Ray Walker, 55, of Stafford was charged with brandishing a firearm and reckless handling of a firearm. He was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail.

In other news, an auto accident on Onville Road and Evans Lane resulted in a DUI arrest on January 13 at 1:50 a.m. Chapman Lawrence Good, 35, of Stafford, was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and refusal of test. He was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) A suspect was charged on Tuesday night with identity theft following a traffic stop conducted by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

On January 8, 2019, at approximately 8:55 p.m., a deputy initiated a traffic stop in the area of 20 Prosperity Lane in North Stafford after observing a vehicle turn left on a red light.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) A suspect was arrested early Monday morning by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after discharging a weapon inside a residence in the southern end of the county.

On January 7, 2019, Deputies Wright, Forman, and McWaters responded to a medical emergency at a residence located on the 200 block of Spring Park Lane. Upon arrival, they learned there was a male subject tearing up his room on the third floor of the residence. They could hear him screaming.
