STAFFORD — Authorities are hoping people who were working with a fake psychologist in Stafford County will come forward with their stories.
Stafford County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a woman who has been posing as a psychologist in Stafford for several years.
HAYMARKET — On May 16, a second man sought in connection to the 2018 fatal overdose of a Dustin Colburn Lueker, 25, of Haymarket man, was arrested.
Jacob Carl Belotti turned himself in police without incident.
GAINESVILLE — Police arrested a man in connection to a fatal hit and run crash that killed a 17-year-old boy.
The crash occurred in the area of Sudley and Catharpin Roads near Gainesville on September 22, 2018. A tip received by police in September lead investigators to a vehicle possibly involved in the incident said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
STAFFORD — A suspect behind a string of residential burglaries in the Crescent Pointe subdivision has been arrested by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 7, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office received two separate reports of home burglaries on Pilot Knob Loop. In the first incident, a resident reported that an unknown suspect had broken into her home and stolen Chinese food from the refrigerator.
Armed robber evades Stafford drone
7-Eleven, 327 Deacon Road, Saturday, May 11, 3:55 a.m. On this date, units responded to a hold-up alarm at a 7-Eleven located at 327 Deacon Road. The caller advised that a subject with a handgun had just robbed the store.
WOODBRIDGE — Police now have a man in custody after a body was found in Woodbridge late last month.
On May 10, detectives from the Prince William police Homicide Unit arrested a suspect in connection to the death of a 23-year-old Washington D.C. man, identified as Angelo Kadro Blakeney.
MANASSAS — A grand jury indicted a man in a murder that occurred on Rippon Boulevard in March.
On May 6, the Grand Jury for Prince William County returned multiple indictments against the man previously arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 25-year-Daniel James Gilliam, of Woodbridge.
STAFFORD — A Woodbridge man is in custody and is charged with grand theft after police said he stole over $900 worth of merchandise from a Walmart in Stafford County.
He’s also a suspect in two other larceny-related incidents that occurred at Home Depot.
STAFFORD COUNTY — Authorities in Stafford County said a woman received a letter in the mail telling her she had been hired to be a secret shopper.
It turned out to be a scam, and now the sheriff’s office is warning residents.
WOODBRIDGE — Police say they have arrested a suspect in a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at Veterans Park in Woodbridge.
