From Prince William police reports:

The victim, a 24-year-old man, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with a group of other men that escalated. The investigation revealed the victim went to the McDonald’s parking lot to talk to a female acquaintance. When the victim arrived, the acquaintance was with a group of men, identified as the accused parties below.

Escape from Custody – Officers are currently on scene attempting to locate a juvenile who escaped from the custody of a Sheriff’s Deputy at the Juvenile Detention Center on Dumfries Rd [near the Prince William County Landfill]. Officers have the immediate area surrounding the facility contained as the search continues. The juvenile was returning from court on non-violent charges when the escaped occurred just prior to entering the facility.

From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office: Three suspects behind a robbery that occurred in the Widewater area during the early morning hours on Sunday have been apprehended by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. 

On June 23, 2019, at approximately 2:37 a.m., Deputy Houde responded to a reported robbery on Chopawamsic Parkway. The caller advised that he was driving down the road when he was flagged down by a male subject who said he had just been robbed.

Homicide Investigation *VICTIMS IDENTIFIED – On June 23, detectives identified the deceased bodies that were found in the wood line near the area of Featherstone Rd. and Blackburn Rd. in Woodbridge the previous morning. Detectives with the Homicide Unit have confirmed the identity of the deceased as Jairo MAYORGA, 39, and Milton LOPEZ, 40, both of Woodbridge. The deceased were known to frequent the businesses in the area. More information about this investigation will be released when available. The investigation continues.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS — (Press Release) On June 11, 2019, at approximately 7:13 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the intersection of Nokesville Road and Technology Drive for a hit and run.

The victim told police he was crossing in the crosswalk at Technology Dr when he was struck by a vehicle and the vehicle did not stop.
