Detectives with the Homicide Unit have identified the man killed in the shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22192) on October 21.

2883 Jefferson Davis Highway, 10/21, 9:59 p.m. On this date, Deputy Martin responded to reports of a driver stopped in the median between the Pizza Hut parking lot and southbound Jefferson Davis Highway.
Interstate 95, MM 142, 10/21, 3:00 a.m. On this date, Deputy Martin observed a vehicle traveling well above the posted speed limit.
On October 18 at 9:33 p m., officers responded to the Dominion Middle Ridge apartments located in the 3600 block of Meandering Way in Lake Ridge to investigate a stabbing.
The accused was eventually placed in a prisoner transport van.

On October 15, 2019, at 9:33 a.m., officers responded to the Ashley Furniture Home Store located at 14270 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.

It happened inside the university’s Fairfax Campus today at 4:15 a.m.
George Mason University police tell us: The unidentified suspect, a dining services employee, brandished a gun and threatened a co-worker during a dispute at the university’s Fairfax Campus.

On October 11, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit received additional information concerning the fatal crash that occurred in the 3600 block of Graham Park Road in Triangle.
The investigation revealed that the pedestrian was struck a second time by a second vehicle that did not stop.
Indecent Exposure – On October 7 at 5:58 p.m., officers were called to the 14700 block of River Walk Way in Woodbridge (near Wegmans) to investigate an indecent exposure.
Suspect Description: Black male, unknown age, 6’5”, 300lbs with short black curly hair Last seen wearing a black polo, black pants, and black loafers
A suspect has been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries that occurred at several businesses in Stafford County at the end of August.
The Stafford Sheriff’s Office subsequently received several similar reports of breaking and entering incidents at businesses in the area.
An armed man robbed a worker in a McDonald’s drive-through.
During the encounter, the mugger brandished a gun, reached through the window and took the money from the open register.

Prince William police tell us that 3:51 a.m, officers were called to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive near Dumfries to investigate a shooting.
