A man defrauded a Tropical Smoothie Cafe, according to authorities.
The man called the restaurant at 15 South Gateway Drive in Stafford County on April, 27, at 5:18 p.m. An employee answered the phone and a caller stated he was from the company’s corporate office.
At least four people are now suspected in a series of armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores near Manassas and in Woodbridge.
Most recently, two men were arrested on April 17, 2020, and were both charged in connection to the robberies while they were already in a Fairfax County jail.

A man who had just been released from the Rappahannock Regional Jail was found a short time later inside of the Rowser Building, at 1739 Jefferson Davis Highway in Stafford, which is home to the county’s parks and recreation department.
