A homeless woman was sexually assaulted by a man who is now on the run.

Police were called Thursday, May 14, at 7:20 p.m. to the 3200 block of Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge to investigate a sexual assault call, according to a Prince William County Police press release. The press release states that the victim, a 55-year-old woman, told police that she was lying in her tent in a wooded area off Golansky Boulevard when a man approached.


A man pulled a gun on a 13-year-old boy during an argument, police said.

The event occurred on Thursday, May 11, at 5:04 p.m. when police arrived to investigate a domestic situation located at 9800 block of McGill Court near Manassas, according to a Prince William County Police press release. Police say that an argument between a boy, 13, and the suspect, a 37-year-old family member, turned violent when the suspect hit the teen multiple times before slamming him into the wall.


Police have now dertimed that two vehicles are suspected in a hit and run death of a 62-year-old man.

Investigators with the Prince William police crash investigation unit have determined that the victim hit and killed in the area of Sudley Road and Balls Ford Road near Manassas on Wednesday, May 6 at 5 a.m., was struck by two vehicles, according to a Prince William County Police Department press release.

An intoxicated man tried to assault a deputy and is now faces charges with breaking and entering, and tampering with vehicles, according to the Stafford sheriff’s office.

On April 29, at 11:50 p.m., a deputy was called to a breaking and entering in progress at a home in the 100 block of Barrett Heights Road in North Stafford. The resident said someone forced open the front door and in an attempt to break into the house. The residents heard the sound of the door opening and were able to close the door after a brief struggle with the would-be intruder, according to a sheriff’s office spokeswoman.


A former employee of a Safeway Food and Drug store went back to his former workplace and exposed himself, according to police.

Police were called on Tuesday, April 28, at 12:45 p.m., to a Safeway Food and Drug store at 4240 Merchant Plaza in Lake Ridge. A man, who was identified as a former worker at the stated Safeway store, walked up to the counter where a female employee was working, made obscene gestures, and exposed himself, according to police.

At least four people are now suspected in a series of armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores near Manassas and in Woodbridge.

Most recently, two men were arrested on April 17, 2020, and were both charged in connection to the robberies while they were already in a Fairfax County jail.
