A woman driving under the influence was found having drugs in her possession which she intended on distributing with a child in the car, according to law enforcement officers in Stafford County.

Kyle Court/Hastings Drive, 8/8, 8:11 p.m. Sgt. Haney and Deputy Aubrecht responded to the area for a possible drunk driver. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Stephanie Hall, 42, of Stafford. Field sobriety tests were conducted and Hall was arrested for DUI. A search warrant for blood was executed. Deputies located suspected controlled substances in the vehicle. Hall was charged with DUI, driving after forfeiture of license, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. She received an additional charge of child neglect since there was a juvenile in the car. Hall was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Police in Prince William County shared information about some online tools that make it easier for neighbors to work together to keep their homes safe.

The department hosted an online meeting to discuss the benefits of having an estbalished neighborhood watch program, with neighbors on the lookout for suspicious activities.

Police are looking for a man they say pulled out a box cutter and used it during a fight on board an OmniRide bus.

Police were were called July 31, at 8:22 a.m to Prince William Parkway and Worth Avenue in Woodbridge to investigate a report of a fight on a bus. A 33-year-old victim told police that he and another man got into a fight, and then the the suspect used the box cutter to slice the victim’s leg before he ran off the bus.

A Virginia State Police trooper suffered minor injuries after his patrol car was rear-ended by another in Springfield early Friday, July 31.

Police stated that Trooper J. Kim was seated in his patrol vehicle and finishing up a crash investigation on Interstate 395 when a 2019 Jeep traveling south ran off the interstate and slammed into the back of the patrol car at 4:21 a.m., just north of Edsall Road.


Prince William

A Dumfries man is now in police custody and charged with robbery following a two-month search.

The suspect was found at his home and taken into custody without a struggle on Tuesday, July 28. Banks was involved in a robbery at a Walmart at 17401 Jefferson Davis Highway near Dumfries, and were on the run until now, police said.


Cierra Dickerson, who was involved in the fatal car accident that resulted in the death of Deborah Lynn Talbot, will face trial February 8, 2021.

According to a press release from the Prince William County Commonwealth’s Attorney Amy Ashworth, the suspect, Cierra Dickerson, 19, is charged with involuntary manslaughter under which carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a $2500 fine.

Police are searching for a man who assaulted a woman in Woodbridge.

Prince William police were called on Tuesday, July 28, at 12:44 p.m. to Potomac Ridge Apartments located at 2800 block of Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge. The victim, a 22-year-old woman, told police that she and a man were involved in an argument that escalated on July 12.
