One man is in critical condition after he was shot Monday in Dale City, bringing the total of people shot in Prince William County over the Halloween weekend to five.
Two men died from gunshots the suffered earlier in the day.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Prince William Willia police officers were called to the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge to investigate shots fired call.
When they arrived, officers found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Rescue personnel arrived at the location and took the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On October 23, Michael Whitted, 33, of Stafford, was indicted at a special grand jury hearing in Stafford County Circuit Court.

Lisa Bartosch has been sentenced to 51 years in prison with 13 years and 9 months suspended for the 2017 murder of her husband, Scott Bartosch, Jr.
