RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia Council on Women, in collaboration with the Science Museum of Virginia will hold a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) essay contest for high school junior and senior girls.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County has a new police chief, and he’s a veteran of the police force.
Major Stephan M. Hudson was appointed the county’s top cop today following a nationwide search for a replacement for long-serving Charlie T. Deane.
DALE CITY, Va. — All good things come to an end, and so is true for bingo at Hylton Boys and Girls Club in Dale City.
The popular Friday night attraction will end it’s run on Feb. 15. The final session will be called, appropriately, Achy Breaky Bingo.

DALE CITY , Va. — On Saturday, hockey players, students, and fans will gather at Northern Virginia Community College to watch the final game of the season and to honor former team captain Rob Lucier who died in October. Lucier’s #3 will officially be retired during a ceremony prior to the game.
MANASSAS, Va. –– The Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas wants to be a lunchtime destination.
The center will begin hosting weekday performances following a catered lunch. The series, Matinee Idylls, will be held inside the center’s Gregory Family Theater.
MANASSAS, Va. — The Prince William Chamber of Commerce invited its members to join them this month on a trip to Richmond to meet with state policymakers and see government in action. The group included members of the Chamber’s Prince William Veteran Council.
“General Assembly members were excited to see that we have an active, engaged council that both supports veterans and taps into the expertise and energy that they bring to the community,” said Nancy Hiteshue, Chamber Vice President of Public Policy and Communications.
