PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Woodbridge residents were appointed a new school board representative last night in the form of Steven Keen, but their representation might be sparse.

The strong-armed robbery occurred on Kearsarge Drive in Dumfires, town police Chief Robert Forker confirmed.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A window was shot out at R. Dean Kilby Elementary School over the weekend.
School officials said the shooting happened sometime between Friday night and early Saturday.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Tonight is the night Woodbridge will have a new representative on the Prince William County School Board.
The eight-member governing body is expected to appoint a new member from a field of interested candidates who spoke last month. The appointee will serve in the position until an election is held – either this spring or later in fall – where voters will decide who will take the job permanently.

Yung is the third officer on the Prince William force to be killed in the line of duty since the department was founded in 1970.

Black ribbon was draped over the door , police motorcycles and cruisers at the Gar-Field Eastern District Police Station in Woodbridge this morning after the line-of-duty death of 35-year-old Prince William police Officer Chris Yung, who was killed yesterday on Va. 28 near Manassas. Yung, who patrolled on a police motorcycle, collided with a mini-van that was making a left turn into a shopping center at Piper Lane about 2 p.m. Monday.
