WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Ankush Bahl, the Assistant Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, will join the Youth Symphony Orchestra for an intensive rehearsal session on Monday, April 22, 2013, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The rehearsal, at Gar-Field High School, is open to the public. Community members, music students and teachers are invited to join YOPW as observers of this event.

This coming summer is going to be very busy along the Interstate 95 corridor in Prince William County.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Police are on the scene of a school bus crash involving children from Fred. M. Lynn Middle School in Woodbridge.
No one on the bus was injured, said Prince William County Public Schools spokeswoman Irene Cromer. The crash occurred at the intersection of Old Bridge and Occoquan roads in Woodbridge.

April 22 marks the 43rd celebration of Earth Day, the grassroots environmental awareness event celebrated in 175 countries. To mark the occasion, Virginia State Parks will offer programming and volunteerism events and introduce a new recycling program in all state parks during “Earth Week,” April 16-22. The 35 award-winning Virginia State Parks are managed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation.
