WOODBRIDGE — Outdoor parks projects won favor with the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.
On Tuesday, the Board of County Supervisors voted 4 to 3 to put forward a list of projects totaling $41 million to voters for approval on the November 5 General Election ballot.

WOODBRIDGE — Leaders worked into the late hours of the night widdling down a list of road bond projects they could send to voters.
In the end, the list contained half of the projects that had been proposed, roadways that were to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion that continues to add 10,000 residents a year and is showing no signs of slowing.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — Following a national search, the Board of County Supervisors announced the hiring of Christina M. Winn as the Economic Development Director for Prince William County.
Winn comes to Prince William County with more than 20 years of experience managing a wide range of economic development, real estate, marketing and finance initiatives in the public and private sectors.

WOODBRIDGE — Instead of being provided answers, residents were asked more questions. And they weren’t having it.
In a fiery meeting at the Prince William County Government Center in Woodbridge on Monday night, residents of the county’s Rural Crescent and those who want to keep developers at bay told officials they were fed up with delays on the future of their properties and neighborhoods.
For the past several months, American Disposal Services, Prince William County’s top trash hauler, has struggled with a truck driver shortage that has resulted in missed or delayed pickups and dozens of complaints.

WOODBRIDGE — Apparently, people liked riding to work on a double-decker bus.
In April, OmniRide temporarily added a double-decker bus to its fleet and conducted an eight-day test run on several different routes, including a route from Gainesville to Washington D.C.

WOODBRIDGE — When it comes to Interstate 95, Ruth Anderson is once again is refusing to apply oil to that proverbial squeaky wheel.
In fact, she’s once again pushing for a fix to I-95, this time to the northbound lanes between Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge and Route 123 at Occoquan.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — The Prince William Board of County Supervisors has awarded a $50,000 grant for a Medical School Feasibility and Planning Study by George Mason University this month.
The Claude Moore Foundation has contributed $200,000 and Mason will cover the remaining costs and conduct the study, with preliminary results anticipated in early fall.
