Students, faculty, and staff at George Mason University will be grounded starting Monday.
The university, with campuses in Fairfax and Prince Willaim counties, told Potomac Local News it will ban international travel due to the coronavirus outbreak.

School officials in Prince William County today outlined how they would decide to close schools in the case of a widespread coronavirus outbreak.
As of March 10, there have been no changes to the regular school schedule. All student field trips are scheduled as planned, the school buildings are undergoing regular cleaning.
Prince William County Public Schools are gearing up for summer school.
Potomac High School near Dumfries will be the location of all high school summer courses in English, Health & PE, Driver Education, Science, and Math. High school students can register for only one new or repeat credit, at a tuition rate of $470 for Prince William County residents.

With spring cleaning on the horizon, Prince William County officials, in a press release., are reminding residents they can help keep items out of the landfill while getting them out of the house and off their property.
Yard waste | Residents can drop off yard waste such as lawn clippings, tree limbs, leaves, etc. at the Balls Ford Road Compost Facility or at the Prince William County Landfill in designated areas where it will be processed into mulch, wood shavings, or compost.

Don’t toss it. Fix it. That’s the concept for a new “fix-it fair” that could take place this summer in Prince William County.
The idea: have residents bring their slightly damaged or unworking items to the fair, have them repaired, resulting in fewer items being tossed into the county landfill.
