The electricity to the building has been cut off as crews make necessary repairs to the building, said Prince William County Public Libraries spokeswoman Mary Fraraccio.
The library is normally closed on Fridays and Sundays and open Saturdays, but it’s not expected to reopen again until Monday.

Woodbridge, Va. — Eastern Prince William will benefit handsomely after county leaders passed a new $890 million budget for fiscal year 2012.
Prosecutors will not seek the death penalty for a man who was featured on America’s Most Wanted, accused of killing his mother and her boyfriend in Oregon.
Prince William police in February 2010 captured 33-year-old Gabriel Morris in Dumfries, while he, his wife and daughter were hiding from police.
Stephen McQueen, Jr. was arrested Thursday on two felony warrants charging him in connection to a blaze that happened at 12:30 a.m. at home in the 3400 block of Caledonia Circle, off Cotton Mill and Hedges Run drives in Lake Ridge.
Officials could not say if McQueen is the same person listed in Virginia court records as having several pending court cases, including entering a property with the intent to damage and for driving on a revoked license.

Myrtle broke through in the fifth; Jared Prince’s one out double was cashed in when Jared Bolden singled to right. Wieland held the Nats in check in the fifth and sixth innings with four more strikeouts to run his total to 13, and Myrtle doubled its lead in the sixth.
