DUMFRIES, Va. — The Dumfries Christmas Parade will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday and it promises fun for the whole family.
This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Past, Present, and Future.” More than 70 organizations will march in the parade, and PotomacLocal.com is proud to lead the parade as the first organization in the line up.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Ideas on how to fund the needs of Prince William County are on the table, though some of them differ.
The Board of County Supervisors on Tuesday reviewed each proposals from supervisors Corey Stewart, At-Large, Peter Candland, R-Gainesville, Frank Principi, D-Woodbridge, and John Jenkins, D-Neabsco.
A man from Woodbridge died today, and another faces charges after both were involved in separate crashes on the Capital Beltway.

DUMFRIES, Va. — Police said the woman who was shot on Graham Park Court in Dumfries last night arranged the robbery that led to the shooting and is now a suspect.
Police said the 23-year-old victim of Triangle rode with a 42-year-old man from Fredericksburg in a car driven by a 47-year-old woman to Graham Park Court just before 5 p.m. Monday. Police said the driver picked up the 23-year-old woman and 42-year-old man at Dumfries Shopping Center on U.S. 1.
