STAFFORD, Va. — Authorities said the police-involved shooting of 17-year-old Evan Newsom was justifiable homicide.

The Stafford County SPCA is less than five years old, is a no-kill animal shelter, and has an office on U.S. 1 in Stafford and a facility in the rural Brooke section of the county. DALE CITY, Va. — Children and teenagers at the Hylton Boys and Girls Club have some new hardwood to hit.
The neighborhood recreational and mentoring facility in Dale City just had a complete renovation of their large gymnasium. The $106,560 project came complete with a shiny new hardwood floor and six new HVAC units. Next year, a carpeted floor in the building’s auxiliary gym will also be replaced. More than 2,000 children will benefit from the newly renovated gym.
