Well, I finally did it. I broke down and joined the Twitterverse.
Never ever in a million years did I think it would happen, Sure, there are millions of people taking part in the worldwide phenomenon known as Twitter, but I never really saw the purpose. After all, what’s the point in tweeting, when I have Facebook? What could I possibly have to say that my “followers” would really care about? Who would even follow me?

DUMFRIES, Va. — Elected officials in Dumfries had no argument when it comes to opposing tolling on the travel lanes of Interstate 95.
The Town Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to pass a resolution opposing plans to toll the major east coast thoroughfare which runs through the town. The road is also a sticking point for residents who don’t like the noise the highway generates.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A group of Woodbridge residents want to educate voters on recent changes involved in the electoral process.
The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity – Woodbridge Alumni Chapter will host a voter education forum at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building on U.S. 1 in Woodbridge Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m.

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — A mother of three faces charges after a service technician found her children home alone.
The technician was working in the Sky Terrace neighborhood along Babcock Road in North Stafford, off Onville Road, when he found the three children at 4:45 p.m. A Stafford sheriff’s deputy called to the scene spoke with the children who told him they were hot and wanted to the swimming pool, said sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — It appears a deal is in the works for residents who were told to leave their homes in a flood-ravaged trailer park in Woodbridge.
Police on Friday told those living in six trailers in the Holly Acres Mobile Home Park off U.S. 1 they had to leave because the homes had been deemed uninhabitable after flood waters inundated the park in September.
