STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — It’s been three weeks since 17-year-old Evan Newsom was shot and killed by police. And during that time no new official details about the shooting have been released.

Newsom was killed at his home in the early hours of Friday Nov. 2 in the 12300 block of Tacketts Mill Road in Fauquier County, just across the Stafford County line.

Still, public support is needed; and that demands understanding of the complex issues and facts involved.
