My nephew Nate and I are sitting in the waiting area of Dogtopia. Janie, my brown dog, had her spa experience first and she’s done, ready to go, waiting with us as my other dog Mixie is getting her bath.

Movie Review: The Conjuring — Rated R — 3 stars out of 5
I was not going to let “The Conjuring” keep me away from the movies. Sure, I was scared to watch “The Wizard of Oz” when I was little — OK, even after I had my driver’s license in 1975. But today, I sat there and said, “conjure on.”

I don’t watch much television. It’s probably because my frugal self has never seen it necessary in my adult life to spend money on a TV or cable bill.

MANASSAS PARK, Va. — For those who can’t make it to the DMV, Virginia’s DMV to go will be in Manassas Park on Friday, July 26.
The mobile motor vehicles office will be in the parking lot of City Hall at 1 Park Center Court, off Manassas Drive, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
