The Teen Camp at the Hylton Boys & Girls Clubs is one of three unique camps being offered this summer, the other two camps are Sports Camp and Youth Camp. Teen camp is a fun and exciting opportunity for teens to enjoy activities, like field trips to Kings Dominion, and to learn education and career development skills.
As part of the career planning portion of the program, teen campers are provided with a variety of job shadowing experiences. The Hylton Boys & Girls Club also partners with individuals and businesses from a variety of professions who volunteer to do career development activities with the teens. One such partner is the Old Navy store, in Springfield, VA. The store has been a regular summer career program partner with the Hylton Boys & Girls Clubs for the past few years.
