WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The work to revitalize Woodbridge’s Marumsco Plaza takes another step forward Tuesday with the opening of a Pollo Campero restaurant.
The eatery known for its Latin flavors, and fried and grilled chicken, will open its newest location at the U.S. shopping center. It will join several new stores at the plaza, including a new Walgreens Pharmacy, and a newly relocated BB&T Bank.

Scott Hirons, candidate for the Falmouth seat on the Stafford County School Board, has been a professional project manager for over 19 years. He currently works as a contractor for the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir.
Hirons says his leadership experience and educational background will make him a beneficial candidate for the school board.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A crash in Fairfax County claimed the life of a Manassas man early Sunday.
Abraham Aragon, 44, of Soldiers Ridge Circle, was pronounced dead on the scene after Aragon drove his 1993 Mazda MX3 coupe northbound in the southbound lanes of Fairfax County Parkway, just north of Braddock Road, according to police. Several drivers were able to swerve and avoid the Mazda, but the car did strike a 2002 Toyota Avalon head on at 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
