WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Gov.-Elect Terry McAuliffe wants Virginia business leaders to put pressure on state legislators to expand Medicaid across the commonwealth.
At meeting with the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and hundreds of state business leaders in Williamsburg on Wednesday, McAuilffe alluded to his priorities for the upcoming General Assembly session starting in January.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Residents got their first look Thursday night at a new public safety complex planned for mid county.
A new 50,000 square-feet, 2-story police station, and a 15,000-square-feet fire station that, will sit at the corner of Prince William Parkway and Davis Ford Road near the Prince William County Government Center. It’s expected to cost nearly $40 million to build both structures. Officials said it’s very early in the design phase of the new buildings, and added they are expected to be completed by 2016.
Gov.-Elect Terry McAuliffe has selected his Secretary of Transportation, who will replace current transportation chief and former Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sean Connaughton.
