BRISTOW, Va. – On October 8, officers and members of the Special Victims Unit and Internet Crimes against Children Task Force arrested the residents of a Bristow home after following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Police say that a Tumblr account contained sexual content of underage boys and when officers identified and located the owner of that account and the home, they found and removed several pieces of evidence of child pornography.

MANASSAS, Va. – On October 16, police found and arrested a man for striking a 23-year-old male victim in the face and then using a crowbar to strike a second male victim, 42, on the head outside of a 7-Eleven store. Police were told by the victims that the three men were involved in an argument inside of the store before the incident happened.

MANASSAS, Va. – On October 12, a woman was arrested for striking a 37-year-old man, whom she knew, with a lamp and then running him over with a car once the victim tried to approach her. The woman initially fled before police could find her and the victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On October 15, a man was arrested for trying to assault a woman, and at one point he grabbed a knife and held it to her neck. Police say that the man initially prevented her from contacting police until she was able to get away from him.

LAKE RIDGE, Va. – On October 15, police arrested a man for forcing a 37-year-old woman into a bedroom and attempting to sexually assault her. According to the report, the two were arguing before the incident and minor injuries were caused.
