The Prince William County GOP will be doing their last community service project of 2014 – collecting food at the Haymarket Food Bank, to help with food needs for the Thanksgiving holiday.

On Friday, November 14th, at approximately 5:30 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a two-story single family home located in the 14000 block of Grayson Road in Woodbridge.

Upon arrival, fire and rescue crews entered the home and discovered a fire in a first floor bedroom. Firefighters proceeded to attack and extinguish the fire as they searched for further extension of fire; no further extension was found; however, smoke and heat damage was discovered throughout the first and second floor.

Candidates seeking to replace Wally Covington the Prince William County Board of Supervisors have agreed to debate the issues.

Jeanie Lawson, a Republican, Eric Young, a Democrat, and Scott Jacobs, an Independent, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Linton Hall School in Bristow for the first and only scheduled debate of the special election set for Dec. 23.
