The investigation was focused on the suspected sale of cocaine, heroin and prescription medication.

Southbound Interstate 95 traffic will be affected next week by overnight lane closures at the Route 17 overpass in Stafford County at Exit 133/Falmouth, just north of the Rappahannock River bridge.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the work zone. Crews will be repairing the bridge deck.

A man was at home in his living room when he heard a knock on the door.
The person on the other side apparently got tired of knocking and kicked in the door. When inside, the man recognized the resident of the apartment and then proceeded to search the home for a mutual friend, according to police.
The Stafford Parks and Recreation Department has announced their summer camp line-up for children this summer in Stafford.

Manassas City Council met on Monday to review City Manager Patrick Pate’s proposed budget for the 2016 fiscal year.
