When T. Clay Wood Elementary School’s Virginia flag started to look a little rough around the edges, Principal Andrew Buchheit wanted something special to replace it.  That’s when he contacted Virginia State Delegate Richard L. Anderson (R-51), who at the time was living in Richmond for two months during the 2015 legislative session of the Virginia General Assembly.

Anderson and his staff were happy to oblige and swung into action to obtain a replacement flag to bring back to Prince William County at the end of the 2015 legislative session.  But this flag was special and in honor of the school, its students, and the namesake of the school, Mr. T. Clay Wood of Nokesville.
