A plan for a reimagined Dale City calls for neighborhoods that are friendly to pedestrians, bus riders, and drivers.
These new neighborhoods must have better crosswalks so people can easily cross Dale City’s main thoroughfare Dale Boulevard. And while there’s already commuter and local bus service along the corridor, a plan calls for even more transit service along Dale Boulevard.
Star Wars Day was this past Sunday at The Pfitz and all members of our roster (25 men) plus the coaching staff donned them.
All were auctioned off to the P-Nats‘ faithful and each winning fan got to receive a picture with the player or coach on the field post-game and all jerseys were autographed by the player or coach.
The Town of Dumfries is now accepting applications for the 2015 Dumfries Summer Youth Internship Program. The 6-week program will provide an opportunity for our area students to get an in-depth, hands-on experience on the internal workings of Town Hall, as well as develop leadership skills through service based learning, earn money, and acquire business skills through hands-on training in a positive, engaging public service atmosphere. This weekend you can hear bands and drink beer at the Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest in Centreville.
The festival – which is on its 8th year – will be held at the Bull Run Regional Park. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 20 and 21.
The crossing would add collector-distributor lanes parallel to the general purpose lanes of I-95 between Route 17 in Stafford and Route 3 in Fredericksburg.

A joint work zone will be underway. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is closing the road to facilitate park cleanup and maintenance activities. At the same time, Virginia Department of Transportation crews will perform road maintenance, including sign replacement, mowing and brush removal.
