Police want to know who nearly run down an officer at the Occoquan Craft Show.

A red Jeep was spotted by the uniformed officer driving in an area of town that had been blocked off by cones. The officer went to speak to the driver, and as he walked out in front of the Jeep the driver accelerated, according to police.

A woman arrested in Stafford is wanted in connection to a murder in Woodbridge.

Police said the woman was detained by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated charges after a man was pronounced dead at a home in the 14823 block of Statler Drive in Woodbridge, just off Cardinal Drive.

Every Year on the second Saturday of December, Wreaths Across America performs a ceremony to pay tribute to our Fallen Veterans by placing hand made wreaths from Maine on the veterans grave sites.

This year the ceremony will be on December 12 at noon at Oak Hill cemetery located at 1902 Plank Road Fredericksburg.
