A new 125-room hotel will be one of the new commercial amenities at the soon-to-be developed Manassas Gateway.
It will be built on 40 acres of land city officials dubbed “Gateway” near the Manassas DMV.

Ronald Dorsey, Jr. was not a suspect following the disappearance and murder of Lizeth Lopez, 36, in April.
Lopez, an employee of Intercept Youth Services, Inc. — a private firm that provided housing and counseling for at-risk teens and adults inside Dominion Middle Ridge Apartments just off Smoketown Road in Lake Ridge, disappeared April 19. Her body was found 10 days later in a nearby sewer.
Belton, SC – Dolores Marie Fuller Kruck, 86, wife of the late Kenneth Kruck, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
She was twice married, first to the late Norman Brewer.

Beginning August 8th, the concrete pad on the west side of the station (Track 3), will be demolished. As a result, all trains can only use the east side platform closest to the station building (Track 2) and will be single tracking north and south of station which may lead to delays. We will work with all stakeholders involved to minimize any delays that do occur. The anticipated completion date of this phase is August 13th.
The City of Manassas Farmers Market has had quite the season this year!
This season alone, there have been over 30,000 visitors to the markets. The City of Manassas Farmers Market runs three days a week – Tuesdays through August from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Harris Pavilion, Thursdays through the beginning of November from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harris Pavilion, and Saturdays through November from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot B, better known to many as the water tower lot across from the Train Depot.
