Lomond Dr in Manassas, detectives from the Homicide Unit and investigators from the Fire Marshals’ Office are investigating this incident as an arson-related double homicide. One of the victims has been positively identified as a 17 year old male juvenile of Manassas.

From Prince William police:
Fatal Crash Investigation – On July 28 at 8:30PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 11000 block of Tower Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that the victim was operating a BMW GS in the area above when he lost control and struck a parked Toyota Camry. The force of the collision separated the victim from the motorcycle and he collided with a parked Jeep Grand Cherokee. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. It is unknown at this time if speed, alcohol or drugs are factors in this crash.
· Good morning Prince William – Catholic Charities- Hogar Immigrant Services is urgently seeking teachers for the English classes in Manassas, Woodbridge and Dale City. These classes are held Monday-Thursday but volunteers are only asked to teach once a week. Training is provided and you do not need to know any other language. A new Chick-fil-A restaurant will open in Haymarket next week. That means hundreds are expected to pack the eatery’s parking lot for a chance to win free food for a year.

Isabelle Phenix Kidder (nee Ho) passed away on 25 July 2016 in Lake Ridge, Virginia after a 2-year battle with colon cancer.
She was born on 18 October 1964 in Saigon, South Vietnam, and although raised Buddhist, she attended Catholic parochial schools in her youth. She and her family emigrated to France in March of 1981. There she attended high school at Lycee de Pontoise located north of Paris, received her diploma in 1986, and soon afterward emigrated with several of her brothers and sisters to the United States.

On July 20, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to an Assault and Battery call in the England Run neighborhood. The victim was an Uber driver who had struck several residential mailboxes with his vehicle in an attempt to flee from his assailant.
