#FindYourPark with holiday performances by Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson, and Yolanda Adams on Dec. 1 as the National Park Service caps off its centennial celebration and launches a second century of stewardship with the 94th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting on the Ellipse at President’s Park (White House). Through a partnership with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, the Hallmark Channel will broadcast the National Christmas Tree Lighting on December 2.

A 144-foot cell phone tower will not be erected at the Prince of Peace United Methodist Chruch just outside Dale City.

The tower, denied by the Prince Willaim County Board of Supervisors, would have filled a gap in cell phone and data coverage in the area, serving Verizon customers.

The purpose of this project is to complete a section of the Shared-Use Path along Route 234 southbound from 240 feet south of Exeter Drive to Country Club Drive, for an approximate distance of 4,300 feet. More specifically this proposed trail would connect from an existing trail at the north side of the First Mount Zion Baptist Church to the Brittany Community at Exeter Drive, proceeding north in front of the Brittany Neighborhood Park.

Violation of a Protective Order | Wanted Subject –  The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted person, identified as Antoine Duran TIMMONS. On September 14, TIMMONS was involved in an altercation with a family member at their residence located in the 2900 block of Seminole Rd in Woodbridge (22912). As a result of the incident, an emergency protective order was obtained against TIMMONS. Since the incident, TIMMONS has violated the order and attempted to contact the victim on several occasions. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of TIMMONS and attempts to located him have been unsuccessful.
